A private home

This commission was an extensive remodeling of a rustic villa in the Karangasem area of Bali.  The clients requested  a non-Balinese "oriental" theme.  It was an opportunity for various historical elements to be used - including the arcade's Moorish brickwork, Mughal-style mosaic-mirroring and the Thai-temple-style gazebo with its Fabergé-inspired egg-finial.  Glass and ceramic mosaic provided a unifying design-element for both old and new sections of the house.
